1. Gozo climate framework models net zero by 2040

   The GRDA framework estimates transport produced 59% of Gozo’s 2023 emissions and models a 2040 pathway requiring major changes in vehicles, electricity and public infrastructure.

   ERA and Kunsill Reġjonali Lvant have concluded their series of environmental activities for students at SkolaSajf, including a final session at Wied Għollieqa where they used VR technology to explore the valley's flora, fauna, and habitats.

4. Two garden regeneration projects underway in Mtarfa

   Works have begun on two green space projects in Mtarfa transforming previously unused sites into gardens and recreational areas through collaboration between Project Green and the local council.

5. Ċirkewwa Marine Park Management Plan launched

   The Environment and Resources Authority and government ministries launched the Ċirkewwa Marine Park Management Plan, moving the site from legal designation to active protection and management.
